Lotto24, a German online lottery operator, is commemorating its 12-year anniversary with a celebration of accomplishments and record-breaking figures.
Since its start in 2012, Lotto24 has been a prominent player in Germany's online lottery sector, claiming to be the first company to offer lotteries online.
Lotto24 has over 5.3 million members and has paid out more than €1.7 billion ($1.85 billion) in winnings, making it the country's top online lottery operator.
Last year, the corporation had a spike in record winners, with a lucky player from Bavaria just winning the €62 million prize.
Aside from its financial achievements, Lotto24 has sought to promote societal problems in a variety of ways. As a result, each ticket sold over the last twelve years has helped to fund educational, health, and cultural activities. Furthermore, revenues from Lottos24's charitable lotteries have gone towards numerous educational projects.
Lotto24 has raised more than €1.5 billion for societal initiatives.
Andrea Behrendt, Lotto24's Chief Financial Officer, commented, "We are proud of Lotto24's twelve incredibly successful years.
"The density of winners among our clients is unusually high, and we are thrilled to have made over 5.3 million players' dreams come true in recent years.
"We will continue to keep our fingers crossed for all our customers and define the future of the lottery with new products."
