Allwyn, the lottery operator, has signed a global cooperation agreement with the McLaren F1 Team in order to expand its involvement in motorsport following its recent arrangement with Formula One.

The agreement will see Allwyn branding appear on McLaren race vehicles and driver dungarees throughout the upcoming F1 season.

The cooperation expands on Allwyn's worldwide expansion strategy, which includes leveraging high-profile sports alliances to increase visibility and encourage ethical gaming.

McLaren, having won the 2024 Constructors' Championship, has a sizable global following, giving Allwyn a platform to reach a larger audience.

This agreement follows Allwyn's announcement of a multi-year contract with Formula One. That collaboration is intended to promote community impact stories, with an emphasis on individuals making a good effect in society. Allwyn has previously sponsored sporting events, including the Peace Race cycling tour, which it continues to support.

Formula One will celebrate its 75th anniversary in 2025, and the sport continues to attract a global fanbase of over 750 million. McLaren's partnership with Allwyn is expected to contribute to larger engagement initiatives, including behind-the-scenes footage and engaging fan experiences throughout the season.

McLaren Racing CEO Zak Brown said, "We are thrilled to welcome Allwyn to the McLaren Racing family. Following a spectacular 2024 Formula 1 season, it's terrific to have a worldwide brand like Allwyn join us at a time when the team and sport are growing stronger."

Allwyn CEO Robert Chvátal added: "We are proud that wherever Allwyn operates, we provide safe and responsible opportunities for individuals to play. We know that McLaren, like the rest of Formula One, values safety and accountability."
